Two police officers in Atlantic County were injured, including one who was stabbed, while responding to a call, authorities said. Keith Kiminsky, 30, of Galloway, was arrested on Sunday, Apr. 7, the Galloway Township Police Department said in a news release. He was given several charges, including attempted murder, aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and resisting arrest. The family of an Atlantic County mother and former restaurant owner is mourning her death. Melinda Schriver of Galloway died on Sunday, Feb. 11 at 45 years old, according to her obituary. The cause of her death was not mentioned. Schriver was born on Friday, Sept. 8, 1978, in Vineland, and she was a lifelong resident of Galloway. She was an Absegami High School graduate and studied business administration at Atlantic Cape Community College. Police ID Motorcyclist Killed In Black Horse Pike Crash
A motorcyclist was killed in a weekend crash on the Black Horse Pike in Egg Harbor Township, authorities said. Joseph Seif III was heading east when he veered off the road near the Elmwood Avenue intersection Saturday around 2:35 p.m., Egg Harbor Township police said. Seif, of Galloway, struck a curb and overturned several times -- the motorcycle landing in the grass median. Seif was rushed to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. A 30-year-old New Jersey woman who rose to fame on popular TLC show "My 600-lb Life" has died. Gina Marie Krasley, of Tuckerton, died at home on Aug. 1 surrounded by family, her obituary says. A Galloway native, Krasley loved to dance and had a passion for inspiring others on TikTok -- proving "dancing has no size limit," her obit reads. Human remains were found earlier this week in a wooded area in South Jersey, authorities said. A nearby resident stumbled upon the skeletal remains believed to be of a male, in the woods, according to Galloway police. These NJ ShopRite Stores Imposing Customer Limit Amid Coronavirus Spread
More than two dozen New Jersey ShopRite stores have implemented customer limits in an effort to stop the spread of coronavirus. The maximum number of customers will be roughly 30 percent of the store’s regular maximum occupancy, ShopRite said in a statement.
