NJ Coronavirus Testing Site In Paramus Closes After Only Four Hours
New Jersey's first major coronavirus testing site closed after only four hours on Friday. On Saturday, the site closed within minutes. A Daily Voice reader who got to the site at 9:30 a.m. waited in line until 1:30 p.m. to be tested, he said. UPDATE: New Jersey's first government-run drive-thru coronavirus testing site at Bergen Community College in Paramus closed after just four hours on Friday. Pillar Of Little Ferry Community Becomes Its New Police Captain
A Little Ferry police veteran who has remained ingrained in the community he’s always called home was sworn as his department’s new captain at Borough Hall Tuesday night. Ronald Klein Jr. lived on Garden Street with his parents, Ronald and Karen. He attended the Wilson School and Memorial Middle School before being graduated from Ridgefield Park High School in 1989 – and worked as a volunteer EMT with the Little Ferry First Aid Corps for 10 years. Several schools and universities have cancelled classes in an effort to plan ahead and prevent the spread of coronavirus in New Jersey (scroll for complete list). As of Thursday, there were 29 presumed positive cases in New Jersey, including a 16- and- 17-year-old. Third Fire In 38 Months Ravages Garden Center Greenhouse In Paramus (

The third fire in a little over three years at a Paramus garden center severely damaged a greenhouse Wednesday night. Flames erupted at Denny Wiggers Landscapes and Garden Center on Paramus Road across from Bergen Community College shortly before 7:30 p.m. Firefighters quickly knocked it down, with no injuries reported.
