Roxanne McCullough of Bergen County died on Monday, June 12. She was 29 years old.
The Glen Rock resident was adopted by Suzanne and Mark McCullough, and later reunited with her birth parents, Jennifer Yantis and Jason Collins, of Iowa, her obituary reads.
In 2015, she met her beloved partner, Michael Van Lenten, at their favorite bar Rumors, in Hawthorne. According to her obituary and those who knew her, Roxie loved her cat, Zoey, eating Campbell’s chicken soup right out of the can, and playing competitive darts (which she was in a league for).

Kevin T. von der Linde of Somerset County died at his Nashville, Tennessee home on Sunday, March 12. He was 27.
Born in St. Petersburg, Russia, Kevin was adopted by his loving parents, Elizabeth and Peter in 1996, his obituary says.

'Hill Street Blues' Actor, NJ Father Of 13, Taurean Blacque Dies: Reports
The father of 13 children, including his 11 adoptive children, and "Hill Street Blues'" Emmy-nominated actor Taurean Blacque, died in Atlanta, Georgie on Thursday, July 21, Deadline reports citing his family.
The Newark, New Jersey native, had suffered from a brief illness, prior to his passing at age 82, his family told the outlet.

A woman originally linked to dozens of dead dogs reached a plea-bargained agreement admitting to killing six dogs, authorities said.
Donna Roberts' guilty plea calls for 90 days in Burlington County Jail in Mount Holly, according to Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina.
Roberts, 68, of Shamong, pleaded guilty to animal cruelty for causing the death of six dogs that were being kept at her property by failing to provide them with proper care, Coffina said.
