2 Cars Rollover In Yorktown During Snowstorm (Photos) Firefighters responded to two rollover crashes on both the Taconic State Parkway and another busy road in Westchester. The crashes happened in Yorktown on Sunday evening, Jan. 19 amid a snowstorm, the Yorktown Heights Volunteer Fire Department said on Tuesday, Jan. 21. Car Lands On Roof In Early-Morning Mahopac Crash A Hudson Valley crash that left a car flipped on its roof caused a road to temporarily close.  The wreck happened in Putnam County on Saturday, Jan. 18 just before 3:30 a.m., when a car overturned on Bucks Hollow Road in Mahopac, according to the Mahopac Volunteer Fire Department.  The driver was able to escape from their car and refused an ambulance trip, firefighters said. The road was closed for around a half hour until the car could be towed away.
