Daniel Ringgold, 37, of Pennsauken, was arrested on Thursday, Sept. 19, the Atlantic City Police Department said in a news release on Friday, Sept. 27. Investigators said Ringgold was driving a vehicle on Atlantic Avenue at around 5:15 p.m. when his license plate was read, triggering an alert. Ringgold had several active arrest warrants. Anton Sheldon Hicks, 40, remained held Wednesday in the Bergen County Jail pending extradition. Officer Bryan Rowin arrested Hicks, of Philadelphia, during a traffic stop Saturday on Skyline Drive, Detective Lt. Christian Eldridge said. Besides being charged as a fugitive from justice, Hicks received a summons for driving without a license, Eldridge said. Sgt. Bart Pagerie assisted.
