2 Dead In NJ Small Plane Crash
Two men were killed in a small plane crash in a Cumberland County yard Monday, Sept. 19, according to various news reports, authorities said. The single-engine Champion Aeronca 7AC crashed in a Parvin Mill Road yard in Upper Deerfield Township around 1:50 p.m., according to the FAA and New Jersey State Police Sgt. Alejandro Goez. Man Has 'Medical Episode' In Cape May County:

A report of a pedestrian struck by a truck turned out to be false in Cape May County, New Jersey State Police said. When troopers arrived at 2046 Dennisville-Petersburg Road at 2:09 p.m. Friday, they found that a 60-year-old man suffered a medical episode and was not struck by a vehicle, said Sgt. Alejandro Goez, a State Police spokesman. The victim did not sustain any injuries and was not transported to the hospital, Goez said.

51-Year-Old Driver Killed In Garden State Parkway Crash In Woodbridge
A 51-year-old motorist from Central Jersey was killed on the Garden State Parkway in Middlesex County, authorities said. Melissa M. Craden of Scotch Plains was traveling northbound on the Parkway in Woodbridge at 3:10 p.m. Saturday when her 2009 Jeep Liberty sideswiped another vehicle near milepost 131.9, a New Jersey State Police spokesman said. Craden’s Jeep flipped and she was ejected, said Sgt. Alejandro Goez. Craden sustained fatal injuries as a result of the crash. HazMat 'Haze' Triggers Evacuation Of NJ State Police Building In South Jersey, Spokesman Says
A hazardous materials incident at New Jersey State Police offices in Mercer County was not as serious as it initially sounded, a NJSP spokesman said. A pool pump overloaded, causing a haze in the ground-floor gymnasium at 1040 River Road, the spokesman said. The haze set off a smoke alarm which prompted a brief evacuation of the building at 1040 River Road in Ewing, according to Sgt. Alejandro Goez. No one was hurt, Goez said.
