NJ Man ID'd In Fatal Triple Tractor-Trailer Crash On I-81 In Lebanon: PSP
The man who died after three tractor-trailers crashed on Interstate 81 on Saturday morning, Aug. 3, has been identified by the Pennsylvania State Police Adrian Jemmott, 31 of Trenton, New Jersey died at the scene of the triple tractor-trailer crash, PSP Jonestown Investigator Ryan Schuetrumpf detailed in the release on Aug. 4. Crash Closes Jersey Shore Road For Several Hours, Police Say
A crash closed a road in Ocean County for several hours, authorities said. East Veterans Highway was shut down between South Hope Chapel Road and Whitesville Road, the Jackson Township Police Department said in a Facebook post at 2:06 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 1. Traffic was also blocked from Pitney Lane onto East Veterans Highway. Officers said the road would be closed for several hours. Police haven't said how many vehicles were involved or if anyone was injured. Residents living in the area near the crash can notify officers directing traffic to get access to their homes.

A 72-year-old driver from Florida was killed in a crash along Route 49 in Atlantic County, authorities said. Troopers responded to the crash at about 8 a.m. on Wednesday, July 31, on Route 49 West at milepost 49 in Estell Manor, according to New Jersey State Police spokesman Sgt. Charles Marchan. Based on a preliminary investigation, Mark Jones of Cape Coral, FL, was driving a Ford Escape when it traveled off the road and struck a tree, Marchan said.
