A Florida pilot's small plane crashed when it experienced engine trouble shortly after taking off from Atlantic City International Airport (ACY), authorities said. Galloway Township police responded to the report of a plane crash in a field near the 200 block of Liebig Street at around 3:42 p.m. on Wednesday, July 31. The 32-year-old New Jersey native was among three United States residents released from prison in Russia in on Thursday, Aug. 1, in what's being called the biggest prisoner swap between since 1991. A 26-year-old New Jersey man who asked a flight attendant for sex and tried to open the aircraft's doors multiple times has been indicted by a federal grand jury, authorities said. Eric Nicholas Gapco, of Delanco, a passenger onboard American Airlines flight #2101, assaulted and intimidated a flight attendant and aircraft crew members on July 18, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.
