NJ Politico Gets 24 Years, No Parole, For Hiring Hit Men Who Killed, Burned Longtime Associate
UPDATE: A New Jersey political consultant was sentenced to 24 years in federal prison for hiring two hitmen to kill a longtime associate from Hudson County.
Sean Caddle, 45, of Hamburg, will have to serve just about all of the plea-bargained sentence because there's no parole in the federal prison system.
Caddle, a former aide to former State Sen. Ray Lesniak (D-Elizabeth), admitted last year that he paid the killers to whack Michael Galdieri, the son of former State Sen. James Galdieri (D-Jersey City) and a prominent figure in local Hudson County politics.

Prosecutor: Jersey Shore Man Sentenced To State Prison For Fatal Shooting Of Beachwood Man, 27
A 32-year-old Ocean County man has been sentenced to state prison for fatally shooting another man in South Toms River, authorities said Monday.
Marcus Samuels, of South Toms River, previously pleaded guilty to aggravated manslaughter in connection with the fatal shooting of Willie Love, 27, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said in a release.
Samuels was behind the wheel of a 2004 Dodge Nitro when he pulled up to a vehicle driven by Love, of Beachwood, and fatally shot him near the Community Medical Center on June 8, 2015, Billhimer said.

A 22-year-old man from Long Branch has been sentenced to 35 years in state prison for stabbing his ex-girlfriend to death, authorities said.
Distraught over their recent breakup, Bryan Cordero-Castro allegedly called and texted the 16-year-old's phone more than 200 times in the hours leading up to her fatal stabbing, according to Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher J. Gramiccioni.
After killing Madison Wells on Sept. 8, 2018, Cordero-Castro unsuccessfully tried to escape from police, Gramiccioni said.

Burlington County Man, 62, Gets 20 Years In State Prison For 'Despicable' Sex Attacks On Girl
A 62-year-old man from Bass River Township was sentenced on Friday to 20 years in state prison, without parole, for sexually assaulting an underage girl, authorities said.
Joseph Kaelin pleaded guilty in February to sexual attacks on the girl for multiple years, Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina said.
The minor told her family about the recurring abuse and Kaelin was arrested in June 2019, Coffina said.
