Pedestrian Struck, Killed On Jersey Shore: Police A 78-year-old woman from Pennsylvania was struck and killed by a Jersey Shore motorist, authorities said. On Monday, June 12 at 5:10 p.m., the woman from  Springbrook Township, PA was crossing Bay Avenue at the intersection of 9th Street in Beach Haven, police said. The driver of the vehicle, an 82-year-old man from Venice, FL, was traveling north and had a green light, police said. No charges had been filed.
