A Long Island man was accused of breaking into a Manasquan home and cutting outdoor security camera wires, authorities said. Thomas Gilmartin of Port Washington, New York, was arrested on Monday, Aug. 5, the Manasquan Borough Police Department said in a news release. Officers responded to a report of someone who broke into the garage of a home on Perrine Boulevard at around 8:02 p.m. Police said the home's back door was kicked in and exterior security camera wires were cut. A Trenton man previously accused of stealing catalytic converters was busted with a variety of burglar’s tools and crack cocaine by officers investigating even more catalytic converter thefts around Ewing, police said. Ewing Police Officer David Massi saw Anthony Riggins, 49, crouching behind a vehicle while patroling Troy Avenue around 3:55 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 11, authorities said in a release. Teen Boy Charged With Attempted Carjacking At Somerset County Condo Complex
A teen boy was arrested for an attempted carjacking at a condominium complex in Somerset County last month, authorities said. A 38-year-old resident of the Polo Hills condominium complex in Far Hills told police that the 16-year-old boy entered her garage, brandished a knife, and demanded the keys to her car around 9:20 p.m on June 10, according to Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H.
