A 52-year-old man from Allentown, with fake ID, has been arrested for trying to defraud a bank in Middlesex County out of $20,500, authorities said Tuesday.

Central Jersey Day Care Aide, 20, Accused Of Sexually Assaulting 3 Children
A day care aide from Central Jersey has been arrested for sexually assaulting children at Superhero Schoolhouse, authorities said.
Kyle Finn, 20, of Sayreville, was arrested Wednesday and charged with sexual assault and endangerment of three children according to Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Sayreville Police Chief John Zebrowski.
"We are cooperating fully with the investigation and we are asking that each of you do also," the Parlin daycare said in a statement. "We do not condone, endorse, or tolerate any mistreatment of a child."

Authorities: Man, 32, Killed By Drunk Driver, 21, In Route 1 Crash
A 32-year-old man was killed by a 21-year-old drunk driver earlier this week on Route 1, authorities said.
Arsalan Gul, of Edison, was behind the wheel of an Infiniti sedan when he struck a Honda Civic, which went into a Lexus SUV on impact in the southbound lanes of the highway in New Brunswick around 11:30 p.m. Thursday, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Director Anthony A. Caputo said.
The Civic driver -- Brian O’Donnell, 32, of Robinsville -- was pronounced dead at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Caputo said.

Authorities: Edison Man, 42, Charged In Fatal Shooting
A 42-year-old man from Edison has been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting in Perth Amboy, authorities said.
Robert Hagens, 42, was charged on Tuesday with the murder of Vidal Carrasquillo-Vasquez, 41, of Perth Amboy, according to Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Perth Amboy Police Chief Roman McKeon.
Hagens also was charged with unlawfully possessing a weapon, they said.
Hagens previously had been arrested on Aug. 24 on a charge of conspiracy to possess cocaine, they said.
