Authorities ID Woman, 93, Killed In House Fire On Jersey Shore
Authorities have identified the woman killed in a house fire in Belmar on Wednesday, March 15, authorities said.
Frances Colie, 93, was pronounced dead at the scene of the fire, according to the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office.
The fire broke out at about 4 p.m. on the 1700 block of Surf Avenue.
There has been no indication of any foul play being involved, the prosecutor's office said.
An investigation into the cause and origin of the fire, involving members of the Prosecutor’s Office and the Monmouth County Fire Marshal’s Office, is ongoing.

Camden House Fire Victims Looking For Help
The victims of a South Jersey house fire are left with little more than the clothes on their backs and are looking for help.
Derek Rodriguez and his mother, Evelyn, were not hurt in the fire and got out safely, according to this GoFundMe page.
But a lot of clothes, shoes, electronics, beds, and other linens were destroyed, the fundraiser says.
"We have little more than the clothes on our back at the moment and we're looking for a little help to get a little back of which was destroyed," Derek Rodriguez wrote.
Nearly $300 had been raised of a $2,000 goal as of Thursday, Sept. 8.

Ten Killed In Pennsylvania Fire Identified
Three children and seven adults died in a fire that destroyed a two-story home in Luzerne County, PA on Friday, Aug. 5, authorities said.
The blaze broke out on the 700 block of First Street in Nescopeck around 2:40 a.m., Pennsylvania State Police said. Ten people died fire while three adults were able to escape, police said.
