Police in Franklin Township are investigating after flags were lit on fire on the morning of Saturday, Sept. 7, authorities said. At 8:23 a.m., officers responded to a property on DeMott Lane and found two custom flags, along with the mounting hardware, damaged by fire, Franklin Township police said in a release. There were no reported injuries as a result of the fire, police said. Shots Fired In Franklin Township: Police
Gunshots were fired in Franklin Township on the early morning of Sunday, Sept. 1, authorities said. At 1:15 a.m., Franklin Township Police Department responded to a 9-1-1 call reporting gunshots heard in the area of Franklin Boulevard, between Matilda Avenue and Baier Avenue, officers said. Police located several gunshot rounds but said no injuries were reported. The incident is currently under investigation by the Franklin Township Police Department Investigative Division, officers said.
