A woman was fatally shot at the Sleep Inn on Street Road in Bensalem, PA, and the suspect was apprehended following a barricade situation in Trenton, police and prosecutors said during a press conference on Thursday, Jan. 16. Trenton Police ID Man, 85, Killed In Pedestrian Crash
Trenton police have identified the 85-year-old who died as a result of a pedestrian crash on Sunday night, March 5. Dowell Houston of Trenton was struck and killed on Route 29 at South Warren Street at about 9:30 p.m., according to a Trenton police spokesman. The driver of the vehicle — Jessica Rose Hesser, 21, of Bensalem, Pennsylvania — was issued motor vehicle summonses, according to Detective Lt. Nathan Bolognini. Hesser had not been criminally charged as of Tuesday, March 7, Bolognini said.

Feds: Men From Philly, South Jersey Admit Roles In Major Meth, Fentanyl Trafficking Network
UPDATE: A man from Philadelphia and another from South Jersey admitted their roles in a major drug trafficking ring that dealt meth and fentanyl, federal authorities said. Kevin Salmon, 25, had 5½ pounds of meth and two guns in his home when it was raided by authorities, U.S. Attorney for New Jersey Philip R. Sellinger said. Salmon had served as a courier for a major drug-trafficking network that "distributed large quantities of methamphetamine and fentanyl," the U.S. attorney said.
