Route 80 eastbound remains closed after the 40-foot by 40-foot sinkhole appeared on the morning of Thursday, Dec. 26, the New Jersey Department of Transportation said. NYC Man Seriously Injured In Crash At Central Jersey Intersection, Police Say A New York City man was seriously injured in a crash at a Mercer County intersection, authorities said. Officers responded to the intersection of Nottingham Way and Wegner Avenue in Hamilton Township at around 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 18, the Hamilton Police Division said in a news release. The intersection is next to an off-ramp for Exit 63B on Interstate 295. Man Killed In Route 31 Crash After Car Overturns In Ditch: Police A 56-year-old Columbia resident was killed in a car crash on Route 31 in Warren County on the morning of Monday, Oct. 14, authorities said. At 5:43 a.m., officers responded to the car crash where they found a Chevy Avalanche had overturned, Washington Township police said. A preliminary investigation revealed the Chevy was traveling southbound on Route 31 north when it left the roadway, striking the guardrail and bridge abutment before rolling over into a ditch, police said.
