Dirtbike Rider Struck, Killed By Vehicle: Bridgeton PD
A 25-year-old Bridgeton man was struck and killed by a vehicle, authorities announced Thursday, Aug. 6
At 9:35 p.m., on Saturday, Aug. 1, officers responded to W. Broad Street and Lawrence Street after Benjemin Finlaw Jr. was operating an E-Ride electric dirtbike when he entered the roadway and was struck by a vehicle, Bridgeton police said.
Finlaw was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The striking vehicle remained on scene, police said.
The incident remains under investigation, police said.

Edgar Velascio-Hernandez was shot and killed in Camden Friday, July 31, leaving behind his wife and children, according to a GoFundMe set up to support his family.
"Edgar was a loving husband, a devoted father, a beloved son, and a dear friend to many," Maritssa Balderas, who organized the fundraiser said. Attorneys for Carmine G. Agnello, 40, of Oyster Bay, said he’s ready for the transplant, but his mother, Victoria Gotti, has a serious infection requiring another delay, the New York Daily News reported.

A 16-year-old Willingboro boy is facing charges following a drive-by shooting, authorities announced Tuesday, Aug. 4.
On Saturday, July 25, officers responded to a report someone had fired multiple shots from a moving vehicle at a family member who was in the front yard, Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia Bradshaw and Willingboro Township Police Chief Ian Bucs said.
