Ramp Between Taconic Parkway, Busy Route To Close For Day In Northern Westchester

Motorists in Westchester are being advised to watch out for a ramp closure that will block the way between a busy parkway and a main route in Northern Westchester.

The closure will affect the ramp between the northbound Taconic State Parkway and Route 9A (Exit 5) in Mount Pleasant.

On Wednesday, June 5, the ramp from the northbound Taconic State Parkway to Exit 5 (Route 9A) in Mount Pleasant will close, the New York State Department of Transportation announced.

The closure will go into effect between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., officials said.

Motorists should instead use the posted detour.
