The two were named to President-Elect Donald Trump's senior communications team after working on his presidential campaign.

Scavino, who served as social media director during the campaign, will be assistant to the president and director of social media.

Hicks, who was Trump's chief spokeswoman during the campaign, was named assistant to the president and director of strategic communications.

Trump also named Sean Spicer press secretary and Jason Miller director of communications.

“Sean, Hope, Jason, and Dan have been key members of my team during the campaign and transition. I am excited they will be leading the team that will communicate my agenda that will Make America Great Again,” said Trump in a statement.

Scavino, a Yorktown High School graduate and Hopewell Junction resident, has spent more than half of his life working for Trump, after meeting him at 16 when he was a caddie at Briar Hall Golf Club in Briarcliff.

Trump would eventually Briar Hall and rename it Trump National. Scavino was later named executive vice president and general manager.

Hicks, a former teen model who played lacrosse at Greenwich High School, worked with Ivanka Trump to help launch a jewelry line before being hired to join Donald Trump's campaign staff in early 2015 despite having no political experience.

Trump, who owns an estate in Bedford, also owns Trump National Golf Club Hudson Valley in Stormville. The Trump name also adorns Trump Tower At City Center in White Plains, Trump Plaza in New Rochelle, Trump Park Residences in Yorktown and the Donald J. Trump State Park on the Westchester/Putnam border.
