YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- Marvin Medow, 62, of Yorktown was issued a summons for allegedly allowing his dog to run at large, Yorktown Police said.
According to police, a call was received from a female resident of Ferncrest Drive on Sept. 30 at 8:11 a.m. reporting that while walking her dog on her street, a Golden Retriever breed dog running at large allegedly attacked her dog, causing no injury.
Officer Donald Peters and Animal Control Officer James Waterhouse were dispatched to the scene and allegedly observed the dog in question running at large in the roadway. While at the scene an investigation revealed that the dog was allegedly owned by Marvin Medow.
Medow was issued a summons pending a court appearance.
