YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- The sixth annual Yorktown Festival and Street Fair will be held Sunday, Oct. 12, from 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
The fair will take place at Commerce Street and Veterans Road. It is sponsored by the Yorktown Chamber of Commerce in association with the town of Yorktown.
The fair will include music, food and demonstrations. At 2 p.m., the festival will feature a costume contest parade for dogs.
Proceeds from the fair are donated to civic and nonprofit groups in Yorktown. More information is on the event website.
