A rundown of events and times follow:
Farm Stand - Open – Fridays, 1 p.m. – 6 p.m. and Saturdays 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. All produce is grown on the farm without the use of pesticides, herbicides or synthesized fertilizers.
U-Pick Vegetables – Saturdays, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Visit Westchester's only U-Pick vegetable operation, and harvest veggies straight from the field.
Insider’s Private Tour –Saturdays, Oct. 4, 11, 18 and 25, -- 11 a.m. – noon. Visit the farm with farm Educational Director Carol Lake and visit with cows and learn about the farm and educational center from an insider’s perspective. Registration is required; fee $10 per adult, children are free. Groups register separately for an additional fee. Spin & Knit – Sunday, Oct. 5, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., Building F. Gather in an informal atmosphere and become part of a monthly spinning and knitting group. Cheese-Making 101 – Saturday, Oct. 11, 1 p.m. – 4 p.m., Building F. Learn everything to start making your own cheese from scratch. Registration required; fee $20 per person, $5 for children ages 8-12.
