Yonkers Officer Hit By Car In Chase For Trio Wanted For NYC Carjacking A police officer in Westchester County was struck by a car during a chase for three suspects wanted for carjacking in New York City.  On Sunday, Dec. 4, around 3:15 p.m., police in Yonkers responded to the area of Point Street and Ravine Avenue, where an occupied vehicle wanted in connection with the carjacking was seen, according to Yonkers Police.  Once arriving there, three suspects attempted to drive away from the scene but after this resulted in an accident, the trio then ran away on foot to try and escape. The incident took place during the evening on Friday, May 7, in Yonkers. That's when the Yonkers PD officers responded to a call of an agitated man on Ravine Avenue with a loaded, defaced handgun who was arguing with himself and threatening to shoot everyone on sight. Seen Her? Alert Issued For Yonkers Woman Wanted On Weapons Charge Investigators from the Yonkers Police Department’s Warrant Squad are attempting to track down a woman wanted on a weapons charge. Shekinah Ricketts, 22, is wanted by police in Westchester on charges that include third-degree criminal possession of a weapon. Ricketts was released and subsequently failed to appear in court to respond to the charges and a warrant was issued for her arrest. Police described Ricketts as a 5-foot-4 African American woman weighing approximately 150 pounds with a medium build, brown eyes and black hair. She was last known to frequent Ravine Avenue.
