Taproom To Close After 8 Years In Bronxville: 'Forever Grateful'
After eight years in business, a popular bottle shop and taproom in Westchester has announced that it will be permanently shutting its doors. Beer Noggin, a craft beer taproom and bottle shop located in Bronxville at 102 Kraft Ave., will be open for its last day of business on Monday, July 31, the owners announced on social media. Debris Removed From Under Bridge In Bronxville To Stop Flooding
A build-up of debris underneath a Metro-North bridge in Westchester had to be removed to prevent possible flooding, county officials said. As a result of storms bringing heavy downpours, a build-up of branches and other flotsam began appearing underneath the Metro-North bridge in Bronxville near Parkway Road which soon became noticed by residents. Man Steals Catalytic Converters From Cars In Yonkers: Police
A man faces numerous charges after allegedly stealing catalytic converters from vehicles throughout the Hudson Valley and Connecticut, including one that was parked at a high school, police said. The arrest stemmed from an incident that happened on Thursday, March 23 around 3 p.m., when a Putnam County sheriff's deputy assigned as a school resource officer at Putnam Valley High School was told that a vehicle parked in the school's lot had a catalytic converter stolen from it. 2 Westchester Hospitals Get 'A' Grade For Patient Safety, Report Says
Two hospitals in Westchester have earned top marks for keeping patients safe, according to a new report. Both White Plains Hospital and Northern Westchester Hospital in Mount Kisco were assigned an "A" grade for patient safety in a new Spring 2023 report by the Leapfrog Group, a national nonprofit watchdog organization that advocates for safety in hospitals. Teacher Put On Home Assignment For Alleged Inappropriate Conduct With Student In Westchester
A teacher in Westchester County is facing consequences for allegedly engaging in inappropriate conduct with a student. The teacher, who works at a school in the Bronxville Union Free School District, was placed on home assignment after the inappropriate communications with a student were discovered, Bronxville Superintendent Roy Montesano confirmed on Thursday, Dec. 22.
