Norwalk Police K9 Sniffs Out Packages After Reports of 'Dead Dropping' STAMFORD, Conn. — Reports of drug dealers using FedEx to ship narcotics recently drew Norwalk police investigators to a FedEx store in Stamford, police said.The phenomenon of shipping drugs through a parcel delivery service is known as a "dead drop," according to police. The packages are often shipped to a false address, tracked online and then retrieved once they have been delivered, police said. Bridgeport Police: Woman, 50, Pepper-Sprayed Students At Bassick High BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – A 50-year-old Bridgeport woman in a wheelchair was arrested Tuesday after forcing a lockdown at Bassick High School by spraying pepper spray at students, according to the Connecticut Post. Yvonne Young of Lenox Avenue — who has one leg — had gone to the school to speak to the principal because her daughter had been bullied, according to the Post.
