Yonkers Police Search For Suspects In Lawrence St. Shooting

YONKERS, N.Y. -- Yonkers detectives are investigating a shooting that took place in the 0 block of Lawrence Street on Wednesday, Oct. 22, officials said.

Responders found a 21-year-old male with two non-life threatening gunshot wounds, one to the collar bone and one in the leg, outside of a deli where he was a customer, according to LoHud.com.

Authorities had the victim transported to an area hospital where he is listed in stable condition, police said.

Witnesses reported seeing a dark-colored BMW leaving the scene. Investigators believe the victim may have been targeted due to a past incident, police said.
