Yonkers Families Displaced After Apartment Fire

YONKERS, N.Y. -- Two families were left homeless after a fire tore through their apartment building on Wednesday, according to News 12.

Firefighters arrived around 8:45 p.m. to flames coming from the back of the building at 358 Nepperhan Ave., said News 12.

No one was injured and investigators are working to determine if the fire began inside or outside the apartment building, added News 12.

The Westchester Red Cross is helping the 16 people, including eight children. whose apartments were damaged from water and smoke, said News 12.
