William Nash, 90, Yonkers WWII Veteran

YONKERS, N.Y. – William Nash of Yonkers died Tuesday, Jan. 8, at his home. He was 90.

He was born Aug. 3, 1922, in Bronx, N.Y., to Andrew and Anna Nash. Raised in the Bronx, he attended local schools. Nash served in the Army during World War II as a mechanic.

He worked as a vacuum repairman for many years prior to his retirement.

Funeral services will be private. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Anthony's Church in Yonkers at a later date. Whalen and Ball Funeral Home in Yonkers is handling arrangements.
