YONKERS, N.Y. -- Thomas E. Gorman, 89, of Yonkers, died Sept. 16.
He was born March 5, 1926 in the Bronx, to Alexander and Elizabeth Gorman (nee Murphy).
He was married to Patricia Huebbe on Sept. 25, 1954.
He is survived by his wife Patricia and five of his six children: Terrence and partner Olga Campiz, Denise, Eileen and husband James Griffin, Kathleen and husband Richard Falcigno, and Regina and husband Joseph King.
He was predeceased by his oldest daughter Deborah, wife of Thomas Martin, in 2007.
He was the grandfather of Michael and Caitlyn Martin; Brianne and Taryn Kelly; Emma, Maeve and Laura Griffin; Dana Falcigno; and Sara and Erin King.
He joined the Navy soon after his graduation from Fordham Prep.
He was an employee for Texaco for nearly 50 years.
Family and friends will be received Friday, Sept. 18, at David J. Hodder Funeral Home on McLean Ave. from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Saturday, Sept. 19, in St. Barnabas Church at 9:45 a.m.
Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
