Gino Di Stefano, Longtime Yonkers Resident, 90

YONKERS, N.Y. -- Gino Di Stefano, a longtime Yonkers resident, died at home on Monday at the age of 90.

Di Stefano was born on Oct. 6, 1924 in Petrella Tifernina (CB), Italy.

For most of his career,  Di Stefano worked for Alitalia Airlines as a sales manager until he retired in 1989. He was an avid tennis player and enjoyed playing until his late seventies.

Di Stefano is survived by his wife  Mary (Di Tomasso) Di Stefano and children Phyllis Federico and Robert (Kim) Di Stefano. He also is survived by his grandchildren Andrew (Frances) and Gina Federico and Francesca, Vanessa and Robert Di Stefano and great-grandchild Alessandra Federico. 

Friends may call at the Sinatra Memorial Home, 601 Yonkers Ave. from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 12. A funeral Mass will be held at at 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 13 at St. Ann Church, 854 Midland Ave. Entombment will be held at Ferncliff Mausoleum.
