Timlin was born Oct. 30, 1940. He was an NRA instructor and proprietor of Smoke N Gun shop in Mount Vernon. He was also a freemason.
Timlin is survived by his wife, Rita; sons, Michael (Denine) and Peter (Kerry); and two grandchildren. Calling hours are Monday, Sept. 30 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, Oct. 1 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at F. Ruggiero & Sons, Inc., 732 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers, NY 10704. A Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2 at the funeral home with burial to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne.
