The Yonkers City Council is considering awarding the money to Rudolph Boone, who has accused the officers of punching and kicking him to the ground in a gated parking lot at the back of his Lafayette Place home on April 11, 2013, according to lohud.com, which reported that Boone claims to have suffered a broken nose during the incident.
Boone was charged with assault and a number of minor crimes in connection to the incident and, in January 2015, pleaded guilty to one count of disorderly conduct, according to lohud.com, which cited the federal lawsuit he filed in May 2015.
