K9 Units Help Track Down Fleeing Suspects After Chase Starts In Westchester: Police Two suspects unsuccessfully avoided justice after leading authorities on a chase throughout numerous towns in the Hudson Valley, police said.  On Monday, Dec. 19, around 9:45 a.m., police in Northern Westchester County noticed a 2019 Toyota Camry traveling faster than 90 mph on Interstate 684 in Bedford. Officers then tried to pull the car over, but the vehicle did not stop, leading police into a chase, according to New York State Police Officer Aaron Hicks.  Authorities continued to chase the vehicle to Putnam County, where the vehicle's two occupants finally stopped on Route 22 …

New York State Police in Brewster received multiple complaints of fraud from customers of R&D Flooring on Route 22 in Brewster beginning in September last year, prompting an investigation by detectives. Police said the investigation determined that LaGrange resident Raymond Demayo, 62, took thousands of dollars in payment from his victims and never performed any work or services in return. Police Seek Area Larceny Suspect Wanted Since 2014 New York State Police investigators in the Hudson Valley are seeking the public’s assistance as they search for a woman wanted since 2014 for illegally forging checks in her family’s names. State Police from the Brewster barracks issued an alert on Wednesday for 42-year-old Angela Cioffi, who is wanted on charges that include second-degree forgery and petit larceny stemming back to her 2013 arrest for forging checks.
