Dutchess County resident Christian Young, age 27, of Hyde Park, was arrested on Saturday, Jan. 8, when Town of Poughkeepsie Police responded to the Shop Rite store located at 18 Winslow Gate Road around 6:30 p.m. According to Lieutenant Shannon Rodriguez, of the Town of Poughkeepsie Police, when officers arrived at the store they found a 27-year-old woman in the cafe area who had been stabbed in the abdomen. Woman Charged With Stealing Pocketbooks, Wallets Of Shoppers In Greenburgh A woman is facing larceny charges after allegedly stealing wallets and pocketbooks of Westchester shoppers, police say. The investigation started about a year ago. Police received numerous reports of wallets and pocketbooks being taken from shoppers at local retail establishments. The stolen credit cards were then used to purchase clothing and electronic devices online. The arrest occurred Sunday, Feb. 3 after Greenburgh Detectives maintained surveillance of the subject, 56-year-old Jennifer Logan of Brooklyn.
