Scarsdale Police Issue 156 Tickets During Seatbelt Enforcement Detail
When you get behind the wheel, click it, or you’re going to get a ticket, in Scarsdale. The Scarsdale Police Department recently participated in a two-week initiative designed to target drivers who fail to buckle up their seatbelts or fail to buckle in their child passengers, leading to 156 summonses that were issued. Police said that during the enforcement wave, officers were looking for and ticketing adult operators who put themselves and children at risk by not buckling up everyone in the vehicle.
