DWI Motorist Drove On Shoulder Of Route 22, Sheriff Says A Pawling man was arrested for DWI after Putnam County Sheriff's deputies watched him drive on the shoulder of Route 22. Ryan C. Castle, 31, was arrested around 2:10 a.m. Saturday, March 17, when Deputy Sheriff Ronald Yeager observed a vehicle traveling south on the shoulder of Route 22 in the Town of Southeast, the department said. After stopping the vehicle, Yeager determined that Castle was intoxicated. He was arrested and charged with DWI with a BAC of .12%, and driving on the shoulder, deputies said. Five Juveniles In Stolen Vehicle Take Police On High-Speed Chase A carload of juveniles in a stolen car took police on a high-speed chase early Friday from the City of Poughkeepsie before being stopped in the Town of Amenia, according to the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office. The event took place around 1:15 a.m. when sheriff's deputies responded to a call for help from the City of Poughkeepsie Police to stop the vehicle which wasn't complying, said Capt. John Watterson. Officers were dispatched to the Armonk Indoor Sports Center on Business Park Drive at approximately 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 10, after receiving multiple calls from patrons there reporting that there were several vehicles with broken windows.
