Construction work has commenced on an upcoming Chick-fil-A eatery at a shopping center in Westchester. The new Chick-fil-A fast-food restaurant will open in Greenburgh at the Midway Shopping Center located at 1001 Central Park Ave. The location will open near Panera Bread. Motorists in need of a coffee or a pit stop can now enjoy that and a lot more at a new service area on I -87 in the Hudson Valley. The new service area in Ulster County, located in the town of Plattekill, (is now open to the public. The location is the sixth new service area to open on the New York State Thruway as part of the $450 million project to redevelop and modernize all 27 thruway service areas, said the New York State Thruway Authority. White Plains Man Charged After Reportedly 'Playing With Knife' At Panera
A Westchester man is facing a weapons charge after being busted playing with an illegal knife at a Panera Bread in Yorktown over the weekend. Officers from the Yorktown Police Department were dispatched to Panera Bread at the Triangle Shopping Center shortly before 5 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 11, where there were reports of a person playing with a knife. Panera Bread Announces National Recall Of Cream Cheese Products
Panera Bread has announced a nationwide recall of a popular cream cheese product “out of an abundance of caution.” Officials announced a “nationwide, preemptive, voluntary recall” of all two ounce and eight-ounce cream cheese products sold in its bakery-cafes after “samples of one variety of cream cheese from a single production day showed a positive result for the presence of Listeria monocytogenes.” Officials said that tests on cream cheese samples manufactured both before and after the production run in question have all come back negative.
