Road Rage: Man Apprehended After Firing Shotgun During Hudson Valley Incident, Police Say A Hudson Valley man was charged with allegedly firing a shot and threatening a person with a shotgun following a road rage incident. The incident took place in Orange County around 7:30 p.m., on Monday, Feb. 20 in the town of Montgomery. Officers responded to an address on Route 17K near Scott’s Corners Drive for a reported disturbance involving a firearm, said Montgomery Chief of Police John Hank. Woman Killed In Crash On Busy Hudson Valley Roadway One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Route 17K in the Hudson Valley. The crash took place around 4:20 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 15, in Orange County on Route 17K in the town of Montgomery, police said. The crash occurred when one of the two vehicles crossed the double yellow line and side-swiped the oncoming vehicle, according to Public Information Officer Steven Rangi, of the Montgomery Police. Two Women Killed In Crash Between Jeep, RAV4 In Hudson Valley An investigation is underway after two female drivers were killed in a crash in the Hudson Valley. It happened just before 10:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 29 in Orange County in the Town of Newburgh. The vehicle, a 2018 Jeep Wrangler, was observed on Main Street by Walden Police and was subsequently stopped, according to state police, who noted that Town of Montgomery Police stopped to assist at the scene.
