Person Seriously Injured After Car Crashes Into Stone Wall In Westchester County One person suffered serious injuries after a car hit a stone wall in Northern Westchester.  The crash happened on Monday, January 2 around 4 p.m., when firefighters in Somers responded to an accident on Butlerville Road and found the vehicle heavily damaged after hitting the wall.  Two people were injured in the crash after being ejected from the car. One of the occupants suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries, firefighters said. Both were taken to a hospital in the area.

Man Stabbed In Arm During Domestic Dispute In Westchester, Police Say One person was injured during a domestic dispute in which he was stabbed in the arm, police said. The incident took place around 5:50 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24 at 157 S. 12th Ave., during the dispute, said the Mount Vernon police. The man was taken to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries with a laceration to his forearm, said Maria Donovan, spokeswoman for the department. Detectives are investigating circumstances of the incident.

The incident took place around 9:15 a.m. Thursday when one vehicle hit another, sending it flying on its roof. One driver was able to get out of the car, but the woman in the flipped vehicle was cut out of her seatbelt by a Good Samaritan and pulled away. She was transported to the hospital for treatment, said the woman's husband.  The cause of the crash is under investigation.

On Sunday night, a man suffered a gunshot wound - reportedly to his head - near the intersection of Ninth Avenue and Fifth Street in Mount Vernon. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment on injuries that were not clear as of Monday morning.
