A man has been left with both a gunshot wound and assault charges after allegedly breaking into a Northern Westchester residence and beating a victim with a metal pipe before being shot in self-defense, police said. Bronx resident Raymond L. Laudo was arrested on Wednesday, June 28, and charged with assaulting and strangling a victim at a residence in Somers, according to New York State Police. A 17-year-old boy who was shot in the stomach in Westchester was later arrested following the incident, police said. Police in the Hudson Valley are asking the public for help to solve a murder case in which the victim was found wounded following a car crash. A Hudson Valley man was shot during an assault in front of an area restaurant. The incident took place around 9:18 p.m., Wednesday, April 14 in Orange County in front of the You You Asian Cusine Restaurant in Wallkill.
