Man Dies After Falling Attempting To Retrieve Downed Drone In Hudson Valley, Police Say A man from the area was killed after reaching for a downed drone and falling more than 250 feet in the Hudson Valley.  The incident took place in Orange County in Deerpark around 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 5, said Trooper Steven Nevel. State police responded to the Hawk’s Nest in the town of Deerpark after the victim, identified as Sullivan County resident Binh Ledinh, age 42, of Lumberland, was reported missing by his wife, Nevel said. Driver Airlifted To Westchester Medical Center After I-84 Crash A driver had to be airlifted after losing control of an SUV, going off-road and crashing on the side of I-84 in the area, New York State Police said. Troopers are investigating a motor vehicle crash that happened at approximately 2:30 p.m. in Orange County on Monday, April 19 in Greenville, leaving the driver of a 2010 Honda CRV with serious injuries. Police said that the driver left the roadway at exit 4 while driving westbound on the interstate.
