Retrial Of Former White Plains Mayor Delayed Until June

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – Jury selection begins June 7 for former White Plains Mayor Adam Bradley’s retrial on misdemeanor domestic violence charges, according to the Westchester district attorney’s office.

The case was set to begin April 8 but was delayed after Bradley’s lawyer, Amy Bellintoni, dropped the case. James Timko is expected to represent Bradley once Bellintoni is officially relieved, according to the district attorney’s office. A conference with the judge is scheduled for March 12.

Bradley resigned in February 2011 after he was convicted of attempted assault and harassment of his estranged wife, Fumiko Bradley, and sentenced to three years of probation.

His conviction was overturned on appeal in October 2012 because Bradley was denied witnesses he said would have given testimony contradicting that of his wife, according to published reports.
