Robert Cioffi, chief executive officer of Progressive Computing, will present the next in a series of free educational technology seminars for business owners on Jan. 15 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.

At the most recent seminar in the series, Cioffi spoke about the opportunities and challenges of mobile computing.
While working from home, on the road and on multiple devices, Cioffi advised the audience on how to stay connected, be more efficient and keep their data secure while growing their businesses with help from mobile technology.
He discussed the importance of and the numerous methods necessary to effectively protect proprietary data in a mobile computing environment.
Cioffi, a Microsoft Small Business Specialist, is a seasoned speaker and writer on a variety of technology topics foR small and mid-sized business. He will be joined by additional subject matter experts.
"The goal of our seminar series is to answer the most common and pressing IT-related questions that we hear, and discuss some real-world applications of solutions," said Cioffi in a statement.
