Seniors in the Swim at County Party

WHITE PLAINS –  Grandparents and their grandchildren are invited to the county’s annual Senior Pool Party and Barbecue Wednesday at the Saxon Woods Pool.

The seniors will be greeted by County Executive Robert P. Astorino while enjoying a day of swimming and a cookout.

The party, which will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., will feature music by the Stages Band, a demonstration of water aerobics and miniature golf and a barbecue.

The event is sponsored by the Westchester County Parks and the Department of Senior Programs and Services. Saxon Woods Pool is located at 1800 W. Mamaroneck Avenue in White Plains.
