To help make sure everyone is safe while diving into the waters, the Westchester County Parks is putting out the call for qualified lifeguards to staff the many county beaches and pools for the summer.
Training is offered for interested applicants over 16 to become certified as a lifeguard. Once certified, applicants are required to sign up for lifeguarding/first aid and CPR/AED training for the professional rescuer with Westchester County Parks.
Westchester County residents will be given preference during hiring, in addition to those who enjoy offering exceptional customer service and don't mind working weekends and holidays when the pools and beaches are packed.
Full and part-time schedules are available.
Interested candidates may complete and submit the lifeguard application online or print and mail a completed copy to the address found on the form.
