Hot Summer For Movies: Films Being Produced In Mamaroneck, White Plains

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- It's been a hot summer for filming in Westchester with "The Papers," the Tom Hanks/Meryl Streep/Steven Spielberg production shot around White Plains, Mamaroneck, and New Rochelle.

On Location Vacations reports more filming on Monday, July 24 at 55 Church Street in White Plains.

Meanwhile, Amazon's "Sneaky Pete," starring Giovanni Ribisi is filming along Cortlandt and Rockland Avenues in Mamaroneck. The show was renewed in January for its second season.

And in Harrison, at Willow Ridge Country Club, "Red Oaks," a comedy web TV series by Amazon starring Craig Roberts is shooting scenes.

On August 3 and 4, HBO's "Divorce" is set to film in the Glenrowan Sports Bar and Grill in Yonkers.

According to an earlier Daily Voice story, the film and TV industry are booming in Westchester.
