Fox Sports will stream the Super Bowl for free in 4K on Tubi, the network announced in a news release. Tubi is an ad-supported streaming service that Fox has owned since 2020.

Tubi's app is available to download on streaming devices like Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, and Roku, along with mobile stores for iOS and Android. Viewers don't need to pay for a subscription and they don't need to be cable or satellite subscribers to access Tubi.

The free stream will include Fox's entire pregame coverage, starting at 3:30 p.m. with the Tubi Red Carpet at Super Bowl LIX, hosted by Olivia Culpo, a former Miss Universe and wife of San Francisco 49ers star Christian McCaffery. The red carpet show will bring fans closer to the fashion, culture, and celebrity buzz surrounding the country's biggest sports event.

Fans can also get ready for the big game by tuning into the NFL Channel on Tubi for its Countdown to the Super Bowl. Starting on Tuesday, Jan. 28, you can watch historical Super Bowls, iconic halftime shows, best of NFL Honors, and NFL analysis.

Fox Sports 1 will have special editions of its daily shows live outside the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans on Friday, Feb. 7. The lineup starts at noon with First Things First, followed by The Facility at 1 p.m., Speak at 2 p.m., Breakfast Ball at 3 p.m. and The Herd with Colin Cowherd at 4 p.m.

Football's biggest day is an opportunity for Fox to showcase Tubi, which may not be as well known as other streaming services. Earlier in January, Tubi said it had more than 97 million monthly active users and 10 billion hours streamed in 2024.

Tubi's growth has been focused on free, premium entertainment, with a massive library of 275,000 movies and TV episodes. Football fans may also know that Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders co-hosts a talk show on Tubi called "We Got Time Today".

The streamer said more than 34 percent of its audience is aged 18-34, with nearly half identifying as multicultural.

"Tubi’s momentum is growing as audiences increasingly value a premium entertainment experience that is also 100 percent free, fun, and reflective of culture," said Tubi CEO Anjali Sud.

Super Bowl LIX will also air on Fox's broadcast channel, along with Fox Deportes, NBCUniversal's Telemundo, and NFL+. Fox said it will announce more Super Bowl coverage plans in the coming weeks.

The Super Bowl will kick off at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 9.
