Although all seven lanes were open for the first weekday since last Tuesday's crane collapse, two trucks broke down on the southbound side, and debris from another truck resulted in delays of as long as an hour until the stalled trucks and debris were cleared by around 7:45 a.m. Residual delays lasted through the end of the morning commute.

The far right-hand lane on the southbound thruway reopened 5:30 p.m. Saturday. It was the last remaining lane that had been closed after the collapse. For more on that, click here.
