There was gridlock on the northbound (Rockland-bound) Tappan Zee Bridge following a crash that took out two lanes before being cleared.

The crash occurred near the Rockland/Westchester line of the span, with stop-and-go delays stretching back miles on I-87 and I-287 back to White Plains just before 5 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24.

The lanes reopened by 6 p.m.
