Two Extricated, One Seriously Injured In Sprain Parkway Crash
A large team of first responders were able to extricate two people following a serious crash on the Sprain Brook Parkway. The crash, which occurred around 3:41 p.m. Wednesday on the Sprain near Jackson Avenue and the Greenburgh/Yonkers border, left two people trapped, with one seriously injured, said the New York State Police. The two were saved by the Yonkers Police Department Emergency Services Unit, IAFF Local 628 Yonkers firefighters, and Empress Emergency Medical Services working together to extricate victims.
